The Royal De Luxe Giants are returning to Liverpool for their third and final time for four days over the weekend of the event. Over 1 million people took to the streets of Liverpool during their last three day visit in 2014 and similar numbers are expected this year. Follow this link to find out more about The Giants visit.

If you are coming to our weekend, we strongly advise you to book your accommodation well in advance and, if not staying in the city centre, make sure to book somewhere with public transport links into the city. Local trains run regularly from the Southport area, which is closest to Saturday’s event at Formby, into Liverpool. It will be possible to do the whole weekend by public transport as you can walk to Saturday’s event from Formby station.

The weekend programme is as follows:

Saturday 6 October: Formby
UK Orienteering League long distance race in top quality technical open & forested dunes on a brand new map.
Please note that as a condition of permission to use the area, entry is limited to 500.
